Ani Terteryan, a prominent Crisis Management specialist based in Yerevan, Armenia, has left an indelible mark in Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Management. As the Founding Director of the R5 Center for Project Management of Emergency Situations and Security since December 2020, she has spearheaded groundbreaking initiatives in security innovation. Under her leadership, the R5 Center has emerged as the sole non-governmental organization dedicated to Emergency Situations and Civil Protection in Armenia, thanks to Ani's unwavering commitment to humanity, her wealth of professional experience, and her team of like-minded lifesaving professionals. In addition to her pivotal role at R5, Ani is a lecturer at the Armenian State University of Economics, where she imparts knowledge on crucial subjects like "Basics of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense" and "First Aid," fostering inspiration and creating new values. Her distinguished career includes roles as a Crisis Management Expert at the Ministry of Culture, a Senior Instructor at the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and volunteer work with the Armenian and German Red Cross Societies.
